GALLATIN COUNTRY CLUB MEN’S Purpose- The Gallatin Country Club Men’s Golf Association is organized to be an active participant in improving the GCC golf course. Objectives - The GCC Men’s Golf Association is an integral element of Gallatin Country Club. The association objective is to play an active role in GCC golf course improvements and contribute to the existence of Gallatin Country Club Recreational members and their guests. The GCC Men’s Golf Association will work closely with and submit recommendations to the GCC Board of Directors for review and approval. Membership - All GCC Men that have a full membership are encouraged to join and participate in the GCC Men’s Golf Association. The GCC Golf professional is classified as a consultant and a non voting member. Officers and Tenure Officers - Members of the GCC Men’s Golf Association shall nominate and elect a President of the Association annually. The PGA Golf Professional as well as the Greens Superintendent can serve as an advisor and provide nonvoting technical and advisory support to the Association. The President has the authority given to him by the Association Membership to appoint sub-committees at his discretion. A Secretary/Treasurer shall also be elected to record minutes of meetings and manage the finances of the Association. Tenure - The President and Secretary/Treasurer typically will serve a one year term but, if necessary they may serve overlapping one-year terms with the approval of the full GCC Men’s Golf Association Membership. Meetings - Meetings shall be scheduled quarterly. The President may call additional meetings, as deemed necessary. Advance notice of the meeting shall be provided to all GCC Men’s Golf Association Members by GCC News letter, email, and posting on the club bulletin board. Agenda Items - Agenda items should be provided to the President at least one week prior to the scheduled meeting. Minutes - Written minutes of each meeting will be maintained and made available to each GCC Men’s Golf Association member. The minutes will also be available for review by the Gallatin Country Club Board of Directors. Duties - The GCC Men’s Golf Association is specifically responsible for performing the following duties:
